One day Students’ Webinar on “Career
Counselling Program” was conducted by Student Placement Sub-Committee of
Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College on 8th January, 2022. The
Key note speaker was Prof. Amitabha Gupta, Swami Vivekananda Institute of
Science and Technology, Kolkata. The program was handled by Prof. Biplab Saha,
Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College. There were more than 60 students who
attended the program through Google Meet platform. The session was interesting
and beneficial to the under graduate students.

One day Students’ Webinar on “Post
COVID -19 Employments and Employability” was conducted by Student Placement
Sub-Committee in Collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell &
Alumni Association of Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College, Naihati on 19th
August, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. The Key note speaker was Prof. Amitabha
Gupta, Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology, Kolkata. The
program was handled by Prof. Biplab Saha, Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College.
There were more than 50 students who attended the program through Google Meet
platform. The session was interesting and beneficial to the under graduate
students.

One day workshop on "Personality
Development and Grooming to Crack Job Interview" was jointly organised
by student placement Sub-Committee & Alumni Association of R.B.C. Evening
College, Naihati on 10th January, 2020. Mr. Raja Mandal,
Eduspire Career Development, Kolkata, West Bengal, was the resource person of
this program. The professors of different departments and the students
attended this program. The program was handled by Prof. Biplab Saha, Rishi
Bankim Chandra Evening College. The number of
participants was more than 50. The class was really beneficial and interesting
to the professors and the students.
ACADEMIC SESSION: 2018-2019
“Job Fair-2019” was jointly organized by Student Placement
Sub-Committee & Alumni Association of Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College,
Naihati in collaboration with HR Technology & solution and Swami
Vivekananda Group of Institute, kolkata on 16th March, 2019. The
program was handled by Prof. Biplab Saha, Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College.
Prof. Basab Chaudhury, Vice Chancellor of West Bengal State University was the
chief guest of this program. There were more than 100 students who participated
this ‘Job Fair’. The companies that recruited students were mainly from
marketing, banking, accounting, and the software sector. Some of them are
Flipkart, Cocentrix, Davision Software, Black Key Board software, Vap
Technology, Axis Bank. The packages relating to these companies normally range
between INR 1.8 L to 2.4 L. This program was beneficial to the students.

One day workshop
on "Job Opportunities for the Young Aspirants" was jointly organised
by student placement Sub-Committee & Alumni Association of R.B.C. Evening
College, Naihati. Prof. Sandip Mallick, Kanchrapara College, North 24 Parganas,
West Bengal, was the key note speaker of this program. The professors of
different departments and the students attended this program. The number of
participants was more than 50. Thiworkshp was really informative, beneficial
and interesting to the professors and the students.
ACADEMIC SESSION: 2023-2024
“Job Fair-2024” was jointly organized by Student Placement Sub-Committee and Students’ Union of Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College, Naihati in collaboration with HR Technology & solution and Swami Vivekananda Group of Institute, kolkata on 6th January, 2024.The Job Fair attracted a diverse range of companies spanning various sectors, demonstrating broad spectrum of opportunities available to the students. The collective efforts bore fruit as 11 students secured positions in various companies.
